IT'S MY FIRST BIRTHDAY!

It's January 31st, 2010 And I Am One Today! Mommy can't believe that a year ago today, I was born! People always say it goes so fast, but Mommy never knew how true that was! We had a huge birthday bash last week while my Auntie Meghan and Cousins Luke & Dylan were still in town. I was so happy to have had them celebrate with me! I had a bunch of friends and family join me, now Mom understands why people go to the pizza parlor with that many kids runnin' around! Mom made me 2 Monkey Cakes and some Monkey Cupcakes to go along with my "Mod Monkey" theme. Everything was delicious! And I scored big time with all my new toys and clothes! My Cousins Are Here!!

Just a quick note to say my 2nd tooth is on it's way!!

Random Stuff . . .

First, I just wanted to say - I'm so excited for my Auntie Meghan to come from Texas with Cousins Luke & Dylan! They come today through the 22nd! :) That means, there will be about 1,000 new photos coming up!! Helping Dad clean the fireplace. Now, I can climb up there and do it myself!

My first time watching Sesame Street. I think I watched about 10 minutes before I got bored!


If you look very closely, this was taken as my tooth was just coming in. Hint: it's on the bottom left! Mom will take another picture at some point to compare progress!!

My Big Day Of Firsts!!!

Well folks, I'm a walkin'!! It started off yesterday with 4-5 steps to Mom & Dad's bed. Then, when Dad got home, I walked another 4-5 steps! Grandma & Grandpa Nelson came over to see the fun, and I did it again several more times and Mom got it on video! Oh, and in case your wondering what the title is about, I also managed to climb into the big rocking chair 3 times . . . and into Mom & Dad's jacuzzi bath tub when Mom wasn't looking (it's got two large tile steps up to it and is a deep tub). Mom thinks my frontal head injury that I received as I dove into the bookcase after my toys first thing in the morning blunted my inhibitions; I'm unstoppable now!!

Today I started off with a bang, immediately climbing into the rocker, (Dad moved it downstairs - party pooper) climbing the hearth to the fireplace and emptying out some new cupboards I found! I made sure to make Dad's day go by fast while Mom was at work! Now . . . all I need is a cape!!!

Bringing in the new year at 11 months old and a tooth!!!! Mom was feeding me a dab of chocolate off her finger when she found this sharp pokie thing in my mouth!! She had to give me a second taste just to double check! Yup! My bottom left tooth was pokin' through on Jan. 2nd! My mouth has still been hurting, and there's another lump in my mouth, so Mom tells me that the right tooth is not too far behind! Amazingly enough I have been sleeping through the night during this whole process. I think I may have jinxed myself! Some 11 mo. pics to follow soon! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
